About the Event
Please join us!Reading For Justice - One Community, One BookOur students of the Westerville Student Education Foundation and others in middle and high school in Westerville City Schools would like to ask you to join them in reading a book that focuses on anti-racism, the history of racism and how it affects every person in our country.
A message from our students: “The WSEF is extremely excited about this community read because it is an important stepping stone in becoming a more educated and inclusive community. As we come together from all walks of life to educate ourselves on the history of racism, it gives us the opportunity to not only educate ourselves but to connect with each around this important topic. This is a critical step not only in progressing as a community, but in starting to incorporate more diverse texts and perspectives within or daily lives.”
This is an exciting opportunity for people of all ages to come together and have meaningful conversations about these important topics. The ask is simple:Connect - Register your interest in this program here so that the students can update you on book clubs, Zoom discussions and other opportunities for engagement.
