About Us

WEF Background

Throughout 2018, the Westerville Education Foundation (WEF) is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. The WEF was founded in 1993 with the sole purpose of enhancing the education of Westerville City School District (WCSD) students. We meet this goal by promoting educational initiatives undertaken by employees in the district. Tax-deductible contributions received by WEF fund grants to teachers and other district employees to enable them to implement their initiatives in the classroom. The current board is all volunteer and comprised of WCSD residents, parents of WCSD students, local business leaders, and other community leaders.
