Interdisciplinary
Stained Glass

Seventh and eighth grade students at Genoa Middle School explore the art of stained glass while integrating math and science concepts into the creative process. This hands-on project engages multiple staff members and enriches students’ educational experiences by connecting the arts with STEM disciplines.

We Are The 'Ville, Athele Mental Health

Athletes from all three high schools joined together with coaches and school counselors in a day of training focused on sportsmanship, leadership, and student-athlete mental health. This was part of the ongoing initiative We Are the 'Ville, which focuses on sportsmanship and unity in Westerville Schools.

McVay Makers STEM Club

At McVay Elementary, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students learned 21st century skills in  STEM by bringing their work into the 3rd dimension! Students learned to use their imagination combined with innovation to explore the world of STEM.
