Limited time - Fireside Chat with Clint Smith and our friend Lee Rutherford

We are so excited to share this with you! On Tuesday, May 17th, WEF Board member and Westerville Educator, Lee Rutherford, hosted a virtual Fireside Chat with award winning author and scholar, Clint Smith. The recording of this insightful and powerful conversation is only available through May 31st.

The conversation focused on Clint Smith's best selling book: How the Word is Passed: A Reckoning with the History of Slavery Across America. The chat was hosted by WeRISE for Greater Westerville and co-sponsored by the Westerville Public Library, Stauf's Coffee Roasters and the Educational Equity Department of Westerville City Schools as part of WeREAD 2022.

The WEF was honored to support WeREAD 2022 with WeRISE, Otterbein University, the Westerville Public Library, Birdie Books, the Westerville Historical Society, 100 Women of Westerville and Ballet Met. We thank all of our community members who supported and participated in this wonderful community event.
