We're so thrilled to see the Cultivating Success Fund featured by the Columbus Foundation this month! We love the story of alumni from 2005 and their spouses coming together to give back to their community. And we are honored to be the recipient of their first grant. The Many Voices Project is such a special program that is, according to the feedback we're hearing from teachers, making an impact for students in Westerville City School. The project aims to being more diverse book collections to classroom libraries to help students feel more included and welcome and to grow empathy and connection amoung all students. We're proud of this project and of the collaboration between WEF and Westerville Partners for Education, the Westerville Library, Westerville City School, Birdie Books, the Cultivating Success Fund, Neighborhood Bridges and so many more fantastic local organizations. This is a team effort!
We distributed 530 books in the first round of Many Voices and will be distributing more books this summer to even more educators. This project is growing and making an impact. To learn more about the project, go to our website.
