Apply for a Many Voices Classroom Library!

We're thrilled to announce that thanks to generous sponsorship from Alliance Data Card Services and other local sponsors, we are accepting applications for the next round of Many Voices libraries in Westerville City Schools.

Who is eligible to apply?

Teachers in Westerville City Schools who have not yet received Many Voices funding in a prior cycle.

When is the deadline to apply?

May 31, 2021-we will not accept applications after this deadline.

Where do I find the application?

The application is on the WEF website under Special Projects/Many Voices. You can also click on the Apply Here button below.

When will I hear about my application?

We will notify second round Many Voices teachers that they will have funding for a collection by July 1.

Is Many Voices just funding for books?

The Many Voices project provides funding for teachers to purchase diverse books for their classrooms. We work with local bookshop, Birdie Books, to assemble Starter Kits that offer diverse collections for different grade levels but we also want to hear from teachers about what specific books they need for their collections. The Many Voices project also provides a resource list and conversation guides with the books to help facilitate classroom discussions about the books provided. We are partnered with the Westerville Library to support and feature these books in our community as well. Additionally, our team also works to connect teachers with diversity experts, as needed. You can check out the Resource Guides and Probing Questions or just learn more about the Many Voice project here.
